Almost as soon as the woman made her way onto the path, a creature appeared before them. The steel bug stared them down, pinches twitched as the golett stepped forward to battle it. Genesis was quick to react. “I don’t think you can take that Golett,” the woman mumbled, a hint of a grin tugged the edges of her lips, “Let Sazazzle handle this one.” Reaching into her pocket, she summoned her poison and fire type out of her cage. She slithered forward, eyes narrowed at the bug as it screeched at her. “Flamethrower.” The creature took in a deep breath, the hot taste of sulfur ticked her throat. And within seconds, her mouth opened to let loose a stream of flames at the steel and bug type.

Despite appearing strong, the bug was slow compared to the flamethrower. The bug screamed in pain, hard steel burning under the flames before pass out from the agony. “Nice,” she huffed, tossing an empty pokeball, “Despite the weakness to fire, these are actually good pokemon.” The ball hit its mark and sucked the creature in. “Thanks for your help,” the woman grunted to her trusted creature, returning it to its ball, “Old reliable.” Now she plays the waiting game, hoping it was enough to knock the pokmeon for good to confirm the capture.
